The Black History Month exhibition celebrating Prince was a great success. Held from 24th–26th October 2025 in London, the event showcased a rare collection of Robert Whitman’s early photographs of Prince, presented in partnership with Prince Party UK (PPUK). Guests enjoyed an intimate look at the formative years of one of music’s most iconic artists. The Saturday evening fan party brought together Prince enthusiasts for an unforgettable celebration, and the Sunday live Q&A with Robert Whitman offered fascinating insights into his time photographing the young star. It was a truly special weekend honouring the legacy of Prince during Black History Month.
As a true Prince fan, you can still own a piece of his history. Robert Whitman’s 1977–78 photographs of Prince are available as affordable, limited-edition giclée art prints on museum-quality archival photo paper. We’ve selected 21 of the most striking, diverse, and in some cases, previously unpublished images from Robert Whitman’s photo sessions with a teenage Prince Rogers Nelson. Only 300 numbered prints of each image have been produced. Each print is a standard A2 size (420 x 594 mm or approximately 16.5 x 23.4 inches). You can choose to frame them yourself or opt for our affordable framing service. Every print is archivally mounted, overmatted with an acid-free mat, and, if framed, finished with an environmentally friendly black wood frame. Each piece is individually numbered out of 300 and signed by Robert Whitman. This exclusive collection remains available for a limited time once they’re gone, they’re gone. All prints are professionally packed and shipped directly to your door.
